Growing Daisy: A 90-Day Marketing Plan

Built in one day from Daisy’s public feed, customer comments, and YouTube reviews.

My Findings

Fix the funnel

Daisy’s top-of-funnel UGC content is strong, but new-brand doubt about sound quality is stalling conversion. I reviewed 550 Reel comments and 6 YouTube reviews of the Daisy One. Sound quality was the most-cited topic (~100 of 550 comments, 18%), many from people who hadn’t bought yet.

The best answer to that doubt, customer testimonials, is buried in Shop/Reviews. Meanwhile, a jittery website header actively undercuts a brand built on precision.

Fix Website, Publicize Quality

First 30 Days [1/2]

Fix the header: A glitched header, leftover from a previous site version, is disrupting the purchase journey. I'd fix it and bug-test it across viewports

Simplify the header: Remove the right-side shop link and turn the left-side link into a primary button, so there’s one clear path into the funnel. Update the pop-up button’s rounded style, a holdover from the old site, to match Daisy’s other CTAs

Strengthen the Funnel

Middle: the NXC interview series. NXC’s engineering shows in the hardware but not in Daisy’s digital presence, and customers shouldn’t need to spend $395 to find that out. Behind-the-scenes and how-it-works content featuring the NXC team would answer audio-quality doubt directly, shot in Daisy’s brand style.

Loyalty: a soundtrack for Daisy. The Journey Collection gives each stage of a flight its own 6.5+ hour playlist (pre-flight, cruising, landing), long enough for New York to LA. Playlists give owners a reason to return after purchase and something to share.

Pilot a Live event

First 90 Days

Over the quarter, I’d focus on one larger idea: a one-night music festival called "Secret Garden" that brings the world Daisy is building into real life. The core ideas:

Invite up-and-coming artists whose music fits the Daisy world and whose listeners fit Daisy’s ideal customer profile.

Promote it mysteriously, building intrigue through digital and in-real-life campaigns.

Work with lighting, set, and interior designers on a venue that’s irresistible to influencers and ripe for reposting.

On the night, hire models to ride the most common buses and trains to and from the event wearing Daisy Ones and embodying the Daisy world.

Build a station where attendees can try on the Daisy headphones, pre-set to Still Mode tracks to give listeners an escape.

A full festival is a big commitment, so I’d start with a pilot: a listening event for roughly 100 people, using the same venue ideas, artists, and try-on station at a smaller scale. The pilot would test the concept and the content it generates before anyone commits to the full version.

What I’d track: pilot sign-ups, attendee-generated posts, and post-event site traffic.

Why me?

I’ve spent 2 years creating marketing strategy for tech brands. Most recently, I led GTM for a cybersecurity tech brand, where our GTM motion led to a 95% interest rate among our ICP.

A cybersecurity buyer and a $395 headphone buyer have something in common. Both are making a high-consideration purchase, and both need proof of credibility before they trust a newer brand. That is the exact problem I've worked on for my whole career.

This proposal took one day and used only Daisy’s public feed, customer comments, and YouTube reviews. Imagine what I could do with access to the product team, real performance data, and the people who know Daisy best.

What draws me to Daisy is the way the Daisy Dial turns a physical feature into a brand symbol, and the balance Daisy strikes between engineering, economy, fashion, and aspiration. I’d love 30 minutes to walk through this plan with someone from the Daisy team!

Let's build an audio brand people love.
